Welcome
Why Choose Reactive Suspension?
Expert Level Experience
Founded in January 2002, the company has steadily expanded its offerings, providing development services for suspension manufacturers and serving as a valued suspension resource for road and off road riders of all disciplines.
The organization is owned by Gareth Evans, whose engineering career began as an apprentice marine engineer, where he acquired traditional engineering expertise. He subsequently pursued Higher Education in Automotive Engineering, and upon graduation, joined Loctite Yamaha, marking the commencement of his professional journey in British Superbikes. His experience spans collaborations with many renowned BSB, WSBK and World Endurance teams.
Gareth has had extensive technical training from several leading suspension manufacturers, along with additional advanced courses focused on suspension construction and track‑side setup.
His unique combination of traditional engineering skills, robust academic foundation, and extensive suspension tuning experience enables him to provide tailored solutions addressing riders’ specific suspension and handling requirements, moving beyond generic, one-size-fits-all approaches.
Currently, Gareth imparts his expertise through a series of hands-on training courses, allowing participants to acquire practical skills in suspension building through direct experience.
